Program Development for the North American Forest Insect Work Conference
|
|
The theme for NAFIWC 2006 is Metamorphosis-forces of change in forests.
The goals of the conference are:
- to address the issue of change in the diverse subjects addressed by and associated with forest
entomology
- identify the critical issues where emphasis should be directed in the near future.
In addressing these goals, we are seeking to develop a broad-based agenda including topics relating to research, development, application, and education.
The program for the NAFIWC 2006 will feature concurrent workshops (24), plenary addresses (3), and panel discussions (3).
We recognize the high level of interest in this important conference and hope to include as many topics, moderators and speakers as possible. At the same time, slots for concurrent sessions are limited
and we are seeking to develop a program of the highest quality, relevance and appeal. |
